Children’s Summer Reading 2019

 Join us for a Universe of Stores! Register for the 2019 Children’s Summer Reading Program starting Monday, June 17th!!!

To register you must visit the library to receive your free Summer Reading Packet which includes; reading log, pencil, bookmark, book bag, and schedule of events.

Pre-school-K: Read or listen to 10 books or read for 10 hours.

Grades 1-5: Read 5-10 books/read for 10-20 hours. The title, author, and time spent reading should be noted in your reading log. When you have completed your logs, you will receive a certificate of achievement and prize. You will also receive free Topsfield Fair vouchers!

The Knights of Pythias and the Friends of the Lynn Public Library will be raffling off 10 bicycles for students entering grades 1 through 5 that COMPLETE the Summer Reading Program.

All completed logs must be returned by AUGUST 16th.

Teen Summer Reading

Be part of the Teen Summer Reading Program! June 17th to August 16th

For teens grades 6-12. For each book, magazine, graphic novel, audio book and e-book you read this summer, you can fill out a book review form. Each review counts as a raffle ticket towards Movie theater Ticket gift pack, an Amazon gift card, and a bluetooth speaker. One review per item read. Duplicates will not be counted. Reviews can be submitted starting June 17th.

Adult Summer Reading 2019

This summer, explore a Universe of Stories for your chance to win stellar prizes!

All you have to do is READ and REVIEW. You can submit completed hand-written book reviews at the library OR you can submit book reviews online by clicking the button below. Feel free to read and review as much as you like. Each review you submit counts as your chance to win prizes! To win, you must be a Lynn Public Library patron with a card in good standing. Reviews can be submitted starting June 24th.

Each Friday, we will randomly select 1 of that week’s reviews to receive a local restaurant gift card! At the end of the program, we will select 1 grand prize winner to receive a galactic prize pack, including a bluetooth speaker, moon light, backpack, and more!

This program begins on June 24th and ends on August 16th.

“The Prophet Project”: Still Small Theatre Auditions

The Prophet Project is a script comprised entirely of Scripture, telling the ultimate love story of God and humankind through movement theatre, music, dance, mask work, and more, all intertwined with the words of the Hebrew Prophets. In 2013 it won the Making a Difference in Christian Service Award from Gordon Conwell, as well as their Eldin Villafañe Award for high Distinction.
