The Alpha Course is kicking off again in 2 weeks! Come for yourself or invite a friend with you. Beginning January 26th from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm, join a group of folks for lunch and discussion over the Alpha film series. It’s the perfect place to wrestle with the major questions we all have about life and faith.

holy ground: a night of fellowship, worship, and prayer

East Baptist Church is hosting a night of fellowship, worship, and prayer next Wednesday on January 22nd. The evening will begin with a Potluck Dinner at 6:30pm which will be followed by a time of curated and guided worship and prayer – including both hymns and contemporary worship songs. All are welcome to join us as we worship our God together!
The event will take place in the chapel at East Baptist Church – located at 300 Western Ave, Lynn, MA 01904 and will run from 6:30pm to 8:30pm. Everyone is welcome to bring something to share at the meal, but if you can’t, don’t let that be the reason you stay away. We are excited to bring many of our brothers and sisters in Lynn together to worship the Lord under the same roof.

Join the City of Lynn in Celebrating the Annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service. This is a commitment for 2 hours of service, not including volunteer’s meals (Breakfast at 

9:30 am and Lunch at 12:45 pm).
There are projects for everyone ages 3-103+. 

• Make valentines for seniors and homeless veterans 

• Sort toiletries and create kits for homeless veterans, Lynn Shelter
Association, and My Brother’s Table 

• Make welcome kits for Plummer Home for Boys 

• Make MLK bookmarkers for Lynn Library 

• Hand write letters to deployed service members 

• And more…

34th Annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Breakfast

 In commemoration of the birthday of our great civil rights leader, Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., the Community Minority Cultural Center, Inc., (CMCC) will hold its 34th Annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Breakfast. Please join us on Monday, January 20, 2020. 

The Community Minority Cultural Center (CMCC) is hosting this year’s event at Knights of Columbus, 177 Lynnfield Street, Lynn Mass, from 08:00am to 11:00am.v The program will feature performances from different ethnic groups representing the rainbow of culture of the city of Lynn. We are honored to have Dr. Maru Colbert, MIT STEM Professor, as our keynote speaker. The cost of the tickets for the breakfast will be $40.00 for adults and $20.00 for children, 12 and under. Tables are $400.00 

On behalf of the CMCC Board, we respectfully request that all organizations/agencies and friends announce this historic holiday event. 

Your support not only helps defray the cost of the breakfast, but also supports different programs, such as ESOL, basic computer training, and other developments. It also helps to provide resources for Lynn’s diverse communities through advocacy, education, and cultural enrichment. 

Contributions will be accepted in the form of purchasing tickets, table and program ads. Please place you ad in our program book, and/or make a donation payable to CMCC.
